Technical requirements for Scout SaaS
Scout MES technical requirements depend on where Scout runs: in the cloud or on your own server. Scout SaaS (in the cloud) needs only an up-to-date web browser (we suggest Chrome) and a Windows computer in your internal network. On that computer we install and configure SCT remotely; it runs in the background as Windows services.
That’s all you need to start monitoring your machines.
Scout on-premises – a server at your company
Suggested server (or VPS/VM) configuration for Scout:
- operating system: Windows Server 2016 or later
- CPU: at least 4 cores × 2.5 GHz
- RAM: at least 16 GB
- SSD: 256–500 GB
- remote access to install the software, preferably VPN + RDP, or RustDesk, AnyDesk, TeamViewer or another tool
